FRIENDS - This word has a lot of significance to most people including me!! Everybody knows that stupid proverb but well that is not always what friendship is about!! I have listed the types of friends you may have in this post!!!
Close friends - These friends are people whom you share your world with!! These are the people for whom that proverb is suited. These people will help you out even if it causes lots of problems for them to do so. These friends are very rare and well when you find such people try not to jerk them away!!
Enjoyable Friends - These are people who are fun to be with, whose company you enjoy!! But these people will hardly stand by your side when you really need them!! They are only there when you are happy and you wont ever have their shoulders to cry on!!
Work friends - These are the people who are your friends only because they need you or your stuff or your contacts for their improvement!! They dont give a damn what you think about them as long as they can get their job done!!
Completely Fake Friends - These are people who have crocodile tears when you are unhappy, fake smiles when you are happy, loads of appreciation for whatever you do! They will be always be there and yet never really be there!!!!
Girlfriend/Boyfriend - Well in most cases it is just one person if you have one!! It is that person whom you care about more than anyone else, the person you love more than anyone else ( other than your parents, usually)!! Of course sometimes this person also turns out to be fake, but that is your problem!!!

Quizzing and the problems faced by it!!
What is quizzing?? Most people think it is just a test of all the knowledge you can gain from a variety of fields. I tend to disagree!! Being interested in quizzing myself, I feel it is actually the art of using what God has gifted most of us in a proper manner which increases your knowloedge in all the general aspects of life. In fact, most of the questions asked in a quiz are less knowledge based and more dependant on how fast and hard you can make your brain work! This misconception is one of the major reasons for the decline in interest among the general public for quizzes. As a matter of fact, the quizzes are the best places to learn and increase your genereal knowledge in an interactive manner. Even when you are in the audience, you get a chance to enhance your IQ andsee how great minds work. What most people dont understand is that questions emerge mainly from our daily surroundings!
For example, one question i heard in a quiz some time back whose answer should be known to anyone who uses one's brain is "WHICH BRAND HAS THE TAG LINE "ONE AND A HALF GLASS OF MILK EVERY POUND"?"
The Answer is Cadbury's Dairy Milk! Do check out the wrapper the next time you buy one for yourself or for your girlfriend!!
Most of the people I have come across feel quizzes are meant for "geeks". Rather, it is meant for those who real good observation skills. Mindless entertainment and pissing other people off is the favourite form of entertainment for most of the youth. Hardly a few people seriously try to sharpen their instincts, which is regretful because its just too sad to know that our age group is nothing but a bunch of people who have harly any use for their brains!

LIterally Abused!!
India is a land of unity in diversity! We all believe that we Indians can live peacefully with each other if not agitated by others! That is in some ways true, but there will always be some sort of friction between people as a result of the diversity. Hindi is the national language of India but this does not give the right to the Hindi speaking community ( I am speaking about the mass public in general ) to make a laughing stock of other languages!! All languages other than their own are jeered at by most of the people here! This is truly embarassing for us who take pride in the fact that we have such a diverse culture and yet it is we, ourselves who pick on the most basic symbol of the culture - their language! I know that the mass I am talking about will hardly ever read this blog and even if they do, most of them will hardly be able to understand it! These people are so proud to be able to speak Hindi, they are never able to completely cope up with English, the language that is universally spoken and which is the most useful in the working arena!
Being a person from a non-Hindi speaking community, I have tried to learn Hindi without formal education but sometimes, grammatical mistakes occur, and people cling on to these mistakes rather than seeing the correctness of the Hindi spoken most of the times. These sort of incidents I, myself, have seen making people frustrated! Thus, as a result people end their attempt to properly learn this language and go back to their roots and their mother-tongues!! This further results in vernacularism! I personally have nothing against Hindi but it is the superiority complex of these people that does not go well with me!!
